Hey Friends-

SO LAST WEEK I HELPED SAVE SOMEONES LIFE...DID NOT POST ABOUT IT SOONER....WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE OK.  I HARED THEM CALLING FOR HELP....SO I STOPED AT THERE DOOR AND ASKED IF THEY WERE OK....THEY SAID HELP ...I NEED HELP...SO I CALLED 911 AND STAYED WITH THEM!

I GOT A BIG HUG AND THANK YOU TODAY!!!  MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD TO KNOW THEY ARE OK TODAY!!

I really wish I had the money to go see all my Ms. Wheelchair sisters this summer!  Could really use a trip away!  And meet all the new girls!!  Much needed!!  Just on my mind today! :)

About me

Hi. My name is Misty but, my friends call me MD. I am 30 years old from the little town of Maple Lake Minnesota.  I am now living in St. Cloud, I moved here in 2002. I was born with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and I have significant lower extremity weakness and atrophy with spasticity requiring bilateral ankle AFOs and use a wheelchair for mobility. I have felt that having this disability has been a learning experience and every day is a new challenge. Despite this being a challenge, I am still very active. I have a background in Child and Adult Care and Education from St. Cloud Technical College.

 

Other things I enjoy in my free time are being with family and friends, volunteering at the Southside Boys and Girls club, writing poetry; I have 3 books done and a new book is in the works.  Its fun to give them as gifts and see someone smile just for a moment.  I was also crowned Ms. Wheelchair Minnesota 2004, that is a year that will always be in my heart.

Hi so I hope you are having a great day!  My Xanga site will be shutting down on July 15 and I do not plan on saving my posts!  I just want to start fresh and new.  On my new blog I will post about whatever comes to mind.  It’s my blog so if you don’t like it….its ok just don’t post!

Hi my name is Misty.  This will be my new blog home if my Xanga blog is shutting down!  Will be posting about my life, my day, how I am feeling and much more.
