I broke down today and finally bought a new printer its not the one I actually wanted but its cheaper and I'm hoping everything comes with it but I need

I guess we will see when I get it

I also bought some stamps and some paint and a toilet brush that I needed and another set of velvet colored pages for Misty's key chains

no more spending for this month but I guess I can't feel too bad about it all my bills are paid and everything else is done and the month is almost over so I'm going to enjoy it when I get the new stuff I just bought

I need to stop being so hard on myself and realize that I can buy stuff for myself every once in awhile it's okay to do that

anyways I guess that's all for now hope you are having a great Wednesday!

My hope is that this update finds you all well and that you are having a great Tuesday

It was a long day yesterday as I was up at 6 and out the door at 9 a.m. to catch the van to the cities

It's always a long day when I have to go down to the cities to see the pump team

I was really nervous yesterday going into this appointment but it actually went extremely well

We have switch the pump from getting 3 doses of medicine during the day to one continuous dose throughout the day

With doing this by doctors and team are hoping that I'm more comfortable throughout the day and night as I sleep

We all decided to up the amount a medication I get buy 1 percent

I'm not going to sit here and try to explain what the percents and how much medication I get means because sometimes it doesn't make any sense to me so I know it would not make any sense to you

As of right now I'm feeling pretty good just extremely tired but that's to be expected thing is how they change the dose completely

And as of right now I can't really tell you if it's going to help or not I need to give it a few days and let it settle into my body to see if it makes a difference

so I'm taking the next couple days and just relaxing at home and letting my body adjust to the new amount of medication

And I will be back at the club on Friday as long as the weather holds out cuz you know we live in Minnesota and the weather can change at any point

A big thank you to all of you that have stuck by my side through this whole entire journey I continue to make strides but I also have ups and downs but that's what life is all about right

I will continue to update and let you know how I'm doing as the time goes on but that's about all I can tell you for now

In another post I will post a little information about my new doctor that is going to take over my case

I also talked to them about the stuff that's going on with my arm and they told me if I'm not comfortable with the results of the CT scan and would like an MRI done I can come down to the hospital and they will do an MRI there and then they will reset my pump but as of right now on the 29th I'm having the CT scan done at the st. cloud hospital and then we will go from there but at least I have the reassurance that I'm going to figure out what's going on with my arm no matter what happens with the results of the CT scan

I'm been really feeling nervous the last couple days I'm not sure why maybe it's the upcoming appointments I have this next Monday and the following week on Thursday I go have a CT scan done on my arm I'm thinking that's why I'm feeling nervous I'm hoping by setting up my clothes and getting everything ready to go that my nerves will calm down

as you go to bed tonight I ask that you say a little prayer for me that everything goes alright and then my nerves calm down

I am sure I will be just fine I've done things like this so many times before but just the reassurance that I will be ok and everything will be okay I think will help thanks everybody and I hope you have a great night

I know I'm a very strong person and I'm hoping over the next couple months that I can make the right decisions for myself

Today is a milestone in my life!!!

October 1st 5 years ago I was at the hospital at 5 in the morning to have my first pump placed

I can honestly tell you I'm grateful to be alive having that first pump place was a nightmare

Not a lot of people know this but I could have died 3 times while I was in the hospital for a month

By the grace of God I'm alive today and I have my family by my side

I love each and everyone of you with all of my heart

I have a great team of doctors and they are making sure I'm safe and comfortable and I have friends that check on me every day whether its through messages, a phone call or a letter in the mail they make sure I'm OK

I need to tell you thank you for being by my side and please don't take a day for granted because you have no idea when it could be your last
now go out and make someone smile If not for yourself for me

I promise to update so here you go

just got home from the doctor

the x-rays look good there's nothing broken so that's a good thing the bones look pretty healthy from what my doctor can see

but my shoulders shot
more than likely it's the same thing that happened to my elbows that's happening to my shoulder although you can't see it on the x-ray is very painful and uncomfortable

so in October on the 13th I will be going to see an orthopedic specialist

to confirm the diagnosis but we are pretty sure from my medical history that is the same thing that has happened to my elbows is happening to my shoulder

so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers over the next couple months so I can make the right decisions for myself as far as care and how I want to handle this situation but as of now that's pretty much all the information I can give you until I go see the orthopedic doctor

like I said before having CP takes a toll on my body and that's what's happening my body is just tired and it's getting to the point where it can't handle it anymore so all I'm asking is for you to keep me in your prayers at night time

and I will do my best to keep you guys updated on the progress and how this is going I love you all very much and I will update again soon once I see the doctor

Tomorrow is the day I've decided I'm going to clean my garden and clean out the rest of the plants that are dying get everything put away for winter I think it's about that time I do all of that just went outside to check it before I make something to eat and I've decided that I'm going to do that tomorrow while I'm getting my house cleaned

Because before I know it the snow is going to be here and I want to make sure I get that done before the snow comes

Now I'm off to make something to eat and watch a little TV before bed oh by the way it was a great day at the club I usually don't do Tuesdays but this week I did it Tuesday instead of Monday because of me not feeling good and you know what I have lots of fun
